Welcome to Rehoboth Baptist Church!

The one true God who has revealed himself in the Bible, has a specific plan for each of us. That means it is no accident that you have joined us today! We are eager to get to know you.

What unites us here at Rehoboth Baptist Church is the truth of the gospel. The word “gospel” means “good news”. What is this good news? It is that God sent Jesus to live for us, to die for us, and be raised to eternal life to be our eternal King. Based on his work here on earth, God is offering all humanity a way to make peace with him so that we may live with him forever. What he requires of us is to trust and follow him as our King.

We believe that this good news is at the heart of the Bible. We believe the Bible is truly God’s word recorded for humanity. This is why we spend so much time teaching and preaching the Bible. We hope you will stick with us and discover how powerful God’s word is to save and transform our lives!

Our goal here at RBC is to call people to submit to Jesus, and to obey everything he taught. Each member looks out for the family, training and equipping one another for service, worship, and Heaven!

Some helpful things to know when you attend a Worship Service:

  • Prayer Requests – An elder is posted in the foyer before the service to take specific prayer requests you may have. These will typically be lifted up in prayer during the pastoral prayer in the worship service unless you specify otherwise.
  • Offering Plate – If you desire to make a financial offering you may place your gift in the offering plates which are placed on the two tables just inside the sanctuary. The offerings will be presented to the Lord during the worship service and the plates returned to the tables until after the service.
  • Doxology – The doxology is sung after the presentation of the offering. You can find the words in our hymnal, Hymn # 621.
  • Communion – Also called The Lord’s Supper, is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month here at RBC. All baptized members of other believing local churches, visiting with us are invited to join us. If you are unclear what it means to be a “member of a believing church” we advise you to abstain. Feel free to discuss with one of our elders.

What about the Little Ones?

We are excited about having families worship together. We believe it is important for our young ones to observe how important this time of worship is to their parents and other adult worshipers.

However, we know it can be hard to sit still and listen quietly, so we have made some helps available. There are children’s Bible story books on the tables in the rear that you may borrow for the service.  A children’s bulletin correlating to the sermon is available on the tables in the rear. There are activity packs in the foyer. You may take your child downstairs, where you can hear the sermon on the speaker. There is also a nursery there.

Be assured that your little one is welcome in the service, but if they need some wiggle room, we understand.

Some Logistics:

  • Downstairs Audio – If you wish to listen to the service but need to get away from the crowd in the sanctuary, feel free to go downstairs to hear the service.
  • Handicap Accessibility – A small elevator is available from lower level to the sanctuary level. Enter the handicap entrance off the south driveway (Look for the handicap sign). The lift button must be held in for the duration of the ride.
  • Bathrooms - Single occupancy Men’s and Ladies’ restrooms are available on the right as you exit the sanctuary and directly below on the lower level as well.
  • Water Fountain – A water fountain is located near the restrooms on the lower level.
  • Coffee Available – Coffee is available on the lower level during Sunday School and again after the Sunday morning service. Please do not bring a beverage into the sanctuary.
  •  Pew Bibles – English Standard Version (ESV) Bibles are available in the pews for your use during the service. If you need a Bible, speak to one of the elders.
